Time Out says

Visiting from Düsseldorf’s Museum Kunstpalast, this exhibit at the Panasonic-run Shiodome Museum features the extensive Art Nouveau glass collection of Gerda Koepff, assembled over three decades and including some of the finest work produced around the turn of the century. Consisting of two sections, devoted to Parisian and Alsace-Lorraine based artists respectively, it highlights how masters like Eugène Rousseau and Émile Gallé were heavily influenced by the Japonisme and Chinoiserie movements, incorporating East Asian elements into their style and choice of themes. Also shining a light on how the city of Nancy and its surroundings became a centre for the Art Nouveau glass movement, the exhibition includes a total of around 140 pieces.
