Time Out says

This museum is the former house and atelier of Fumio Asakura (1883–1964), who was a leading figure in modern Japanese sculpture. The three-level building – designed by the artist in 1936 – melds modernism and traditional Japanese architecture. The centrepiece is a delightful rock and water garden, also designed by the artist. From the rooftop garden you can see just how low-rise Yanaka is compared with the rest of Tokyo.
