Time Out says

Dutch photographer Charlotte Dumas has dedicated her life's work to observing the way we interact with animals in today’s society as well as what animals meant to humans historically. Dumas is especially intrigued with dogs and horses; she travelled around Japan in 2014 to photograph rare breeds of horses in Hokkaido, Nagano and Miyazaki prefectures.

The exhibition, ‘Bezoar’, is named after a solid stone-like mass that can sometimes form in the digestive tracts of animals. These objects were once regarded as a talisman in ancient folklore, thought to be an antidote to poisons including arsenic. Alongside Dumas’s photographs, the exhibition will include installations by textile designer Yuko Kitta as well as architects Keigo Kobayashi and Haruka Uemura.
