Design Festa Vol 34

The second Design Festa of the year descends on Tokyo Big Sight this weekend, with some 3,000 booths and 8,500 exhibitors taking part. Now into its seventeenth year, the event claims to be the biggest of its kind in Asia, and with figures like that, it's hard to imagine how anybody could disagree. From handcrafts to sound installations, performance art to interior design, this has always been an event for lovers of every genre, and it just gets bigger and better this year – making for an experience that can be exhilarating and exhausting in equal measure.
