Time Out says

Proclaimed 'one of the nicest young fellows in Dreamland' by his mentor, Dante Gabriel Rossetti, Edward Burne-Jones abandoned a planned career in the church to become an artist – a pursuit in which he was joined by longtime friend William Morris. The pair would become key figures in the 19th century Pre-Raphaelite movement, with Burne-Jones lending his talents not only to painting but also stained glass, tapestries and even pianos. This exhibition presents the first comprehensive overview of his oeuvre ever shown in Japan, with 80 pieces from throughout his career, including works from they key 'Perseus', 'Pygmalion' and 'St. George and the Dragon' series.
