Time Out says

By the time El Greco painted his late-period masterpiece 'The Virgin of the Immaculate Conception' in the early 17th century, he was being hailed as 'one of the greatest men in both this kingdom and outside it'. This spectacular altarpiece, over three metres in height, sits at the centre of El Greco's Visual Poetics, a large-scale retrospective dedicated to the poster boy of the Spanish Renaissance. There are over 50 of the Greek-born artist's works on display in the show, many of them on loan from Madrid's Museo Nacional del Prado.
