Time Out says

Head over to this nine-day art exhibition presented by Mutek Japan, an international organisation promoting digital arts and electronic music. In collaboration with Panasonic, the event provides eight immersive digital art experiences, making use of the latest in projection technology. Step inside a world of art and sound, created by world-renowned Japanese and international artists. Here are some of the highlights.

Japanese art and design company Rhizomatiks teamed up with dance company Elevenplay to create ‘Infinity Flow 2022’. You’ll see a dancer’s silhouette moving inside a futuristic geometrical space, as the digital artwork combines light, dance moves and computation to create a new experience.

Another highlight is a new work by Akiko Nakayama, a Japanese painter who performed at the Tokyo 2020 closing ceremony. Called ‘The Morphology of Freely Rising Deformable Bubbles’, her new project explores the state of utakata, bubbles on a liquid’s surface. The performance is accompanied by a composition by Japanese musician and pianist Eiichi Sawado.

International artists include Turkish-American media artist Refik Anadol, who is displaying his work 'Machine Hallucination', an immersive audio and visual performance showing the full creative potential of machines.

For more information, see the event’s official website. The event takes place daily at Panasonic Center Studio A from 11am-9pm with seven 50-minute sessions a day. Tickets can be purchased in advance.
