Los Angeles-based Dutch visual artist Friedrich Kunath will be exhibiting some of his works at Harajuku’s Blum & Poe gallery. His art gives off a comedic yet sombre impression, expressing feelings of love, hope, longing and despair, all while incorporating German Romanticism and Western pop culture influences. He’s held exhibitions in many renowned galleries around the world, including the Carnegie Museum of Art in Pittsburg, USA, the Pompidou Centre in Paris, and Blum & Poe galleries in Los Angeles and New York.
