Giorgio de Chirico Exhibition

Giorgio de Chirico (1888-1978) and his 'metaphysical art' greatly influenced surrealists like Salvador Dalí and Max Ernst, as well as filmmakers, photographers and other artists all the way up to the 21st century. This extensive retrospective covers his major works, his renewed interest in classicism and the 'neo-Baroque' style he adopted in his later years. Around 100 pieces are on display, most of them sourced from the collection of de Chirico's late wife, Isabella Far.
