Time Out says

Tokyo-based manga artist and illustrator Hisashi Eguchi will be showcasing his artwork in an upcoming exhibition at Base Q on the sixth floor of Tokyo Midtown Hibiya. Eguchi, who has won several awards for his work, including the Kodansha Manga Award for 'Stop!! Hibari-kun!' in 1988 and the Shogakukan Manga Award for 'Chikyuu no Houkago' in 2007, made his debut as a manga artist in 1982 with 'Susume!! Pirates' published in Weekly Shonen Jump.

This event will feature Eguchi's original paintings created using the unique Pantone overlay technique, which involves layering coloured sheets to create intricate and detailed designs. The exhibition will also debut a new piece titled 'She', which captures the essence of the Hibiya streets.
