Photographer and poet Kansuke Yamamoto (1914-1987) was one of Japan's leading surrealists from the early 1930s to the '80s, pursuing avant-garde photography with a strong social message in the face of prewar prosecution and postwar public indifference. This display consists of around 30 works, including both vintage pieces and modern prints of Yamamoto's most iconic images.
