Kaoru Hirano: Re-Dress

Born in Nagasaki but now based in Berlin, Kaoru Hirano creates her works by unravelling items of clothing, then spreading the thread across gallery walls or fashioning it into new pieces. Her latest exhibition acquires extra emotional resonance from the fact that she was working mainly with used wedding dresses.
