Time Out says

This quaint Shimokitazawa café doubles as a bookshop where you can browse through hundreds of second-hand books while enjoying a warm drink. Designed by architect Yuichi Murayama, the space is filled with warmth thanks to its mainly wood interior. The shop specialises in books on counterculture with subjects ranging from subcultures to religion and the spiritual world. As for drinks, you can sip on coffee, tea, soy milk chai or even a few cocktails. Various events are held here including live music performances and natural therapy workshops. To keep up with upcoming events, check the website.
