Time Out says

Talent does run in the family. That's what this exhibition exhibition proves: it examines the works of renowned ukiyo-e artist Kyosai Kawanabe and his eldest daughter, fellow ukiyo-e artist Kyosui, who were active between the late Tokugawa and mid-Meiji periods. Everything from Kyosai's ukiyo-e paintings and illustrations to impromptu sketches are on display in a rather comprehensive manner, and structured in such a way that they lead up to Kyosui's work, clearly showing how Kyosai may have handed down the tradition to her. On top of that, the entire exhibition is bilingual, with virtually every text available in both English and Japanese.
