Shigeki Miyamoto is the first Japanese chair maker to become a professional furniture designer. His works, made in collaboration with architect Zaha Hadid and graphic designer Taku Satoh, have become well known around the world.
The Lixil Gallery in Kyobashi is exhibiting some of his best creations. From designing to material selection to repairing, the broad range of Miyamoto’s achievements with chairs will be on display.
