Time Out says

In ever-changing Tokyo, the only unchangeability in the capital is its great size. Masataka Nakano has been photographing the city for over 30 years, expertly capturing urban areas with sharp perception and a keen understanding of space. Over 100 of Nakano’s works have been selected for this exhibition from his most famous collections as well as his newer photographs that have yet to be unveiled. His series, ‘Tokyo Nobody’, shows rare images of deserted streets that are otherwise packed with people. ‘Tokyo Windows’ provides a friendly view of the city seen from the windows of residential homes and buildings. The third installation of the Tokyo trilogy, ‘Float’, is a set of photographs taken of the city reflected on bodies of water. As the city continues to expand with the upcoming 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, take an opportunity to explore Tokyo’s unique urban structures and cityscapes through Nakano’s  eyes. All works are accompanied by English text.
