Masterpieces from the Kunsthaus Zürich

One of Switzerland's top art museums, the Kunsthaus Zürich now brings 74 highlights from its collection to Japan for this three-month special exhibition displaying the work of 19th- and 20th-century painters. Including art from impressionism to surrealism, the exhibit introduces visitors to masterpieces by familiar names like Claude Monet, Marc Chagall and Henri Matisse, along with Swiss luminaries including Ferdinand Hodler and Alberto Giacometti. Divided up into a number of era- and artist-designated 'rooms', this collection is an excellent opportunity for learning more about the representative turn-of-the-century movements in Western art.
