Combining technology and art in an urban atmosphere, the fourth version of Media Ambition is even bigger than before. First established as a flashier alternative to the NACT's annual Japan Media Arts Festival, the multimedia celebration now takes over not only Roppongi but also venues in Ginza, Ochanomizu and Tennozu Isle with everything from video art and music to a 'hackathon' and talks with participating artists. Tokyo City View at Roppongi Hills functions as the main venue, and hosts an opening show by Keiichiro Shibuya on February 26, an exhibition produced by Perfume collaborators Rhizomatiks, and a pair of artist talks on March 3 and 15. We're also looking forward to Kohei Nawa's joint show with French-Belgian choreographer Damien Jalet, hosted by Tennozu's Warehouse Terrada. For the full programme, check out the official website.
