Photographer Mika Ninagawa's second full-length film, Helter Skelter, is already one of this year's most talked-about flicks – albeit mostly thanks to the offscreen antics of its star, Erika Sawajiri. Famed for her vibrant visual aesthetic, Ninagawa doesn't hold back in her screen adaptation of Kyoko Okazaki's manga, replacing the monochrome starkness of the original with lush, saturated colours and some truly bombastic set design. With Helter Skelter due to hit cinemas on July 14, Parco Museum is hosting an exhibition of production stills, costumes and art from the film.
