Contemporary art gallery Ultrasupernew Kura’s latest exhibition features works by Mona Sugata, a Japanese contemporary artist who creates immersive paintings, sculptures and installations that explore the cycle of life and the invisible connections between living beings.
Taking place from October 3 to October 30, the exhibition includes works featuring motifs from the natural world, such as flowers, leaves, butterflies and bees. Instead of perceiving the world as a collection of separate things, Sugata, through her works, puts the spotlight on the countless invisible flows and relationships that bridge living beings, exploring the landscapes of invisible connections found in nature and ‘in between’ humans.
Visits are by appointment only on weekdays, while walk-ins are welcome on Saturdays. The exhibition is closed on Sundays and Mondays.
