Time Out says

The Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo may have been closed for over a year now for renovations, but that isn't stopping the institution from hosting this series of artsy pop-ups, a collaborative enterprise realised together with local galleries, cafés and other facilites around Kiyosumi-Shirakawa. The second installment in the series is called 'Connecting Scapes' and sees exhibitions, workshops and performances held in six primary 'MOT Spaces' that showcase the richness and charm of the district, while smaller installations will be hosted in nine 'MOT Spots'. The area's main shopping street will host an information centre where you can pick up tips on the area and learn about interesting walking routes. In conjuction with MOT Satellite, the Tokyo University of Arts' Ueno Campus puts on an exhibition in the Arts and Science Lab, displaying work by a range of socially conscious international artists. The exhibition is open Thursday to Sunday (including holidays) between October 7 and November 12.
