Piece of Peace

The Acropolis of Athens, Angkor Wat, the Sagrada Familia: witness the awesome spectacle of some of the most iconic UNESCO World Heritage sites on the planet, recreated in Lego. Piece of Peace – which runs at Parco Museum throughout November, with satellite exhibits at Designtide Tokyo and Kyoto Station – is the work of local Lego maestro Kazuyoshi Naoe, who's overseen the construction of replicas of 40 sites from 27 different countries for the show. It's no frivolous exercise, either: there'll also be a charity shop on site, with proceeds going to UNESCO to assist in the upkeep of some of the places featured.
