Poetic Pastel: Inaka no Hana

A collective founded by London-based artist Johanna Tagada, Poetic Pastel focuses on 'art, publishing and textiles'. Their inspiration comes from sources far and wide, but there's a distinct emphasis on respecting nature and reflecting upon it through lifestyle and art. Here, the border-crossing artists shine their creative spotlight on 'village life', with guest appearances coming in the form of Taiki Iai and his colleagues, who are known for hand-dyeing fabric in the mountain villages of Kyoto.
