Established by film historian John Kobal, the Kobal Collection is a photo library focused on the film industry, particularly its American variant. Highlights from this massive stack of pictures will again be on display in Ginza, with Kyobashi's multi-use Tokyo Institute of Photography continuing its series of Hollywood portraits. This exhibit centres on Swedish-born great Ingrid Bergman, born a full century ago this year, while also including shots of Vivien Leigh, Ava Gardner, Marlene Dietrich, Greta Garbo, Grace Kelly and other Golden Era legends. Most of the exhibited prints are also available for purchase.
