Time Out says

Belgian surrealist painter René Magritte (1898-1967) is enduringly popular in Japan, with this extensive retrospective actually the second of its kind held in the country. Composed of around 130 pieces assembled from museums and private collections all over the world, the exhibition should provide a rather comprehensive look at this artistic contrarian's work, which continues to influence avant-garde art and design to this day.
