Shisyu: ‘The Shisyu’ Calligraphy Exhibition

This is a solo exhibition of works by female calligrapher, Shisyu, who has been active in many fields including the NHK historical drama ‘Ryoma-den’. Hanging scrolls Ryoma’s Kaientai and Yataro’s Fukidokuritsu which Shisyu did for the drama are one of the highlights. In addition, twenty new works including collaborative works with a living national treasure, and works for Hollywood films will be on display. Enjoy Shisyu’s unique style of calligraphy that is not bound to tradition.
