Time Out says

Located on the very tip of the Noto Peninsula in Ishikawa prefecture, on the Japan Sea coast, Suzu City plays host to this expansive art festival directed by the Art Front Gallery's Fram Kitagawa. Also known as the organiser of the Japan Alps Art Festival, held for the first time this year, and the hugely successful Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale, Kitagawa has decided to time the festival to coincide with the local autumn matsuri season. Participating artists include adventurer-turned-photographer Naoki Ishikawa, who will be contributing works themed on Noto's traditional festivals, art director Katsumi Asaba, avant-garde titan Tatsuo Kawaguchi, fashion designer Kodue Hibino, Berlin-based installation artist Chiharu Shiota, multimedia wizard Hiraki Sawa, the foodie-focused Eat & Art Taro and Takahiro Iwasaki, who represents Japan at this year's Venice Biennale. International colour will be provided by the likes of Puerto Rico's Allora & Calzadilla, architecturally inspired Russian Aleksander Konstantinov and Indian unit Raqs Media Collective.
