Taishi Hatayama: Astray in Time

Winner of the Contemporary Art Foundation of Japan's inaugural CAF Prize while still a student at Tama Art University, now 25-year-old Taishi Hatayama crafts highly detailed, vivid and nature-inspired paintings. One of the more interesting up-and-coming artists in Tokyo, he now shows off new work at the Sezon gallery in the backstreets of Harajuku.
