Time Out says

You may have read about the 'designer' sushi of Takayo Kiyota in the 2nd issue of our magazine... Known as 'Tama-chan', this Tokyo artist uses maki rolls as her canvas, coming up with all sorts of interesting images including 'The Mona Lisa', a 'Barefoot Mermaid' and even a feotus inside a womb. Last year you had the chance to make some of these amazing creations for yourself at a series of workshops led by Tama-chan, and they got booked up so quickly that she's collaborating with us again – this time around, the artwork you'll be making is her quirky skeleton makizushi (above).

There'll be a translator on hand to guide you through the step-by-step in English and all materials are supplied - just be sure to bring along your own apron and napkins. To book, please email reservation@timeout.jp and include the following details: name, number of people joining, phone number. Note that there are only 15 spots available and no cancellations are accepted. You should receive an email response within three business days, either confirming your booking or letting you know all spots have been snapped up.
