You may have read about the 'designer' sushi of Takayo Kiyota in the 2nd issue of our magazine... Known as 'Tama-chan', this Tokyo artist uses maki rolls as her canvas, coming up with all sorts of interesting images including 'The Mona Lisa', a 'Barefoot Mermaid' and even a feotus inside a womb. Last year you had the chance to make some of these amazing creations for yourself at a series of workshops led by Tama-chan, and they got booked up so quickly that she's collaborating with us again – this time around, the artwork you'll be making is her quirky skeleton makizushi (above).
There'll be a translator on hand to guide you through the step-by-step in English and all materials are supplied - just be sure to bring along your own apron and napkins.
