Taro Okamoto Museum of Art

Not to be confused with the Taro Okamoto Memorial Museum in Aoyama, this Kawasaki institution honours the epoch-making contemporary artist with regular exhibitions that draw on the museum's considerable collection of Okamoto works. It also runs the annual Taro Okamoto Award for Contemporary Art (aka Taro Award), which highlights up-and-coming artists who, according to the awards committee, 'will make history'.
