Tohoku Standard Exhibition

Re-opened in summer 2015, Ginza's G.Itoya is your one-stop shop for anything even remotely related to stationery, writing tools and other office supplies. The 'Inspiration Hall' in the basement hosts this special exhibit that shines a spotlight on the traditional manufacturing culture in Tohoku, a region known for both rough weather and sturdy, tough-minded residents. 12 craftspeople from the area are featured here, with both their products and working environments in focus over two January weeks.
