The fourth edition of this international conference brings together experts from around the world to discuss and debate the place of arts and culture in society. Held as a part of the 20th anniversary celebrations for the Tokyo-Berlin twin town relationship, the meeting welcomes guests from Berlin, London, Seoul and cities all around Japan to ponder the significance and value of cultural and arts festivals as part of urban space. A maximum of 200 participants will be admitted, and a lottery will be held in case more than 200 applications are received. You can sign up online here, and the deadline is 5pm on Oct 15.
In addition, the International Visitors Program has invited young overseas professionals engaged in arts and culture to undertake ‘presentation and idea exchange’ with Japanese counterparts at this event.
