Time Out says

After 65 years of service as a hub for local culture, Ikebukuro's Toshima Kokaido will be torn down in late March, to be replaced with a new and shiny steel-and-glass complex in 2019. The weekend before demolition work begins will see the trusty concrete monstrosity's last hurrah, with a packed programme of art, anime, concerts and more taking place at the Kokaido and at the also-soon-to-be-destroyed old Toshima Ward office. The full programme in Japanese can be viewed here, but just heading over and checking out what's on ought to work nicely as well.
