Time Out says

Sadly, you won’t be able to witness much wailing and gnashing of teeth here, since the TSE, home to global giants such as Toyota and Sony, abolished its trading floor in 1999. The stock market of the world’s second-largest economy is now run almost entirely by sophisticated computers, which means the building is eerily quiet, the former trading floor taken over by a huge glass cylinder with the names and real-time stock prices of listed companies revolving at the top. If you want to catch what little action is left, visit on a weekday during trading hours (9-11am, 12.30-3pm). The guided tour lasts approximately 40 minutes and includes a 20-minute video explaining the history and function of the TSE. On the way out, don’t forget to invest in a souvenir T-shirt, mug or some golf balls.
