Tokyo Confidential kicks off its inaugural holiday festivities with Christmas Confidential, a festive celebration in partnership with Woodford Reserve Bourbon that takes place on the bar’s stunning tenth-floor rooftop terrace. The pop-up runs until December 30 and offers cosy holiday vibes along with an adorable Christmas tree, mini fireplaces, heated blankets, festive cocktails and an unrivalled view of Tokyo Tower.
The holiday cocktails have been crafted by founder Holly Graham and head bartender Wakana Murata, who have come up with four special drinks for the occasion (¥2,000 each). The Pandan Nog is offered hot or cold and is a unique twist on the classic eggnog thanks to the addition of pandan and amazake. For something a bit stronger, opt for the Gingerbread Old Fashioned, which features seasonal spices, gingerbread syrup, bitters, Woodford Reserve Bourbon and a cute gingerbread cookie. For something warm, you can't go wrong with the Kentucky Coffee featuring Woodford Reserve Bourbon, coffee, Okinawa brown sugar and chilled cream, or the hot Vino Navidad, which is made with red wine, brandy and mulling spices.
To top off the menu, Christmas Confidential is cooking up a distinctive take on Japan's festive tradition of Christmas fried chicken by offering the TCFC fried chicken (¥2,000) served with ranch dip and house pickles. Looking to splurge? You can add a bottle of champagne and a caviar bump to your order for ¥15,000.
