The swanky Gold Bar at the Tokyo Edition, Toranomon hotel is bringing back its cocktail festival this February. Ten talented bartenders from eight cities worldwide are invited to take over the bar and create cocktails for the occasion. These specialists come from some of the world's most acclaimed bars.
For one day only, these esteemed bartenders will shake up unique cocktails using spirits, tequila, whiskey and brandy sponsored by Suntory, MHD, Pernod Ricard and Diageo – and you can enjoy a free flow of these special concoctions with a ticket that’ll set you back ¥9,800 (early-bird price until Feb 16, after which tickets are ¥13,900).
The first round of bartenders (2pm to 4pm) includes Toshiyuki Kubo of Ark Lounge & Bar, Shingo Sasaki of Sober Company in Shanghai, consistently ranked in Asia's 50 Best Bars; Joash Conceicao, the mastermind behind Singapore's Offtrack; and Angeline Tan and Amanda Wan of Three X Co, a speakeasy-style cocktail bar in an unassuming Kuala Lumpur shopping centre.
From 4.30pm to 6.30pm, the bar is taken over by Keisuke Goto, owner and bartender of Bar K-9; Soko Son, owner of Seoul's Soko Bar; Dhruv Raj Vij and Navjot Singh of New Delhi's Lair, ranked 8th in Asia's 50 Best Bars 2025; and Yoshimitsu Obara of Citadel in Fukuoka.
