In what seems suspiciously like an attempt to upgrade its image, the Ginza branch of the eternally under-dressed American restaurant chain is hosting a party with a difference: only the ladies are invited. 'Hooters makes girls happy too!!' squeals the poster for the inaugural Hooters Girls Night, where members of the fairer sex can look forward to a food buffet, free-flowing drinks and entertainment including music from model-slash-DJ Eri Tsukimoto and a talk session with manga artist and 'media activist' Nameko Shinsan.
