Time Out says

Japan’s leading online non-alcoholic drink shop Maruku has opened its first physical shop just a minute’s walk away from Gakugei-Daigaku station. You won’t miss the bright yellow door of this café-bar serving nothing but bottles of non alcoholic beer, wine and sparkling drinks imported from around the world.

If you’ve been to the Maruku website, the drinks menu will be familiar to you. There are around 30 kinds of non-alcoholic drinks to select from, but beer lovers should give the Maruku original alcohol-free lager (¥715) or stout (¥715) a try.

The menu also includes bistro-style dishes to pair with your drink, including hummus and falafels, katsu (fried fillets), sauteed cabbage with anchovies and garlic, and much more, all offered at less than ¥1,000 per plate. This cosy café only seats up to eight people, but it makes a great place to wind down without getting wasted.
