One of those places you'll never just stumble upon, this hideout bar behind Shibuya's Miyamasu Mitake Shrine has nonetheless been doing steady business for over a decade, serving up a brief but agreeably priced selection of booze. All drinks go for ¥700 and the doors stay open from 8pm until 8am the next morning, so hanging around all night is an option – if you can stand the incessant red light filling the space. The antique decor adds to the experience – just refrain from taking photos, as the staff really don't seem to like it.
