Time Out says

Sarutahiko Coffee in Shimokitazawa is transforming into a cocktail bar during the evening from December 12 to 25. After its regular café hours, it will stay open from 8pm until midnight (last orders 11.30pm) as Sarutahiko Bar. During this time, you’ll be able to get coffee cocktails made with premium coffee beans selected by Japan latte art and barista champion Hiroki Ito.

Try a rum and cream-based velvet tiramisu martini (¥900) sprinkled with cacao and raspberry powder. For something more refreshing, go for a lemon tonic (¥900) that features a herb vodka with a shot of Sarutahiko’s Tokyo ‘Til Infinity blend espresso, tonic water and a splash of Setouchi lemon.

There's also the pink fizz (¥900), a fruity cocktail that looks almost like a science experiment — just pour the tonic water into the pink raspberry-based concoction and you’ll see fuzzy, cloud-like bubbles form on the top. This can also be made non-alcoholic using black tea.

There are plenty of snacks like spiced mix nuts and truffle buttered potatoes to pair with your drinks. But we recommend going for the affogato parfait (¥700), which has Sarutahiko Coffee’s own pistachio ice cream, chocolate mousse, two mini madeleines and whipped cream, all topped with a warm shot of espresso.
