Expect top-notch cocktails and some ultra-rare tipples at this two-day celebration of the art of bartending. The second Tokyo International Bar Show – a descendent of the malt-centric Whisky Live fest that started back in 2000 – moves from Tokyo Midtown to the two-floor Belle Salle Shibuya Garden complex, where a quartet of 'legends and rising stars' from the cocktail circuit will oversee the proceedings. The masterclasses held at last year's event are being replaced by smaller seminars this time around, which will be held in an expanded Product Zone where you shouldn't have to fight through mobs of people just to try the many free samples on offer. Upstairs in the Bar & Cocktail Zone, there'll be presentations held throughout the event, including appearances by veterans Takao Mori (of Ginza's Bar Mori) and Peter Dorelli (former manager of the Savoy's American Bar), and latter-day stars Fumiyasu Mimitsuka (of Bar Little Smith, Ginza) and Jim Meehan (Please Don't Tell, New York).
