Big-time candle and incense makers Kameyama have teamed up with a number of Japanese candy brands to create incense especially for those of us with a sweet tooth. Flavours include Milky, Sakuma Ichigo Milk, Sakuma Drops, Melon Caramel, Kitami Hakka (mint) and Botan-ame – all classic sweets that have been around for decades.
Packaged in palm-sized, deceptively candy-like boxes, the fragrant incense costs ¥600, with each stick burning for about 19 minutes (very precise, yes). Maybe you’ll save some cash and cut calories by opting for these delicious-smelling creations – or maybe they'll just have you craving the real thing even more.
