It isn't often that an MC gets top billing at a drum 'n' bass night, but when you're talking about the leading lady of microphone wielders, exceptions can be made. Plucked from obscurity by Roni Size, Kiwi singer Natalia 'Tali' Sheppard has gone on to become the preeminent female MC in a genre that's traditionally dominated by blokes. Sophomore LP Dark Days, High Nights finds her flexing her songwriterly muscles, with a bonus CD featuring live acoustic versions of seven tracks from the main album. She appears alongside fellow AudioPorn Records artist Xilent, with support from DJ Aki and the rest of the 06S posse.
