100% Silk Japan Tour x Diskotopia Summer Party

Time Out says

Much like its parent label, Not Not Fun, LA's 100% Silk has been garnering a lot of love recently. Run by Amanda 'LA Vampires' Brown and husband Britt, the fledgling imprint is nominally a dance label, but this is dance music served with a DIY roughness and tons of reverb (not to mention reams of VHS-butchering promo videos). The label's first Japan party keeps things streamlined by getting the overseas acts to work double time: bandmates Damon Palermo and Daniel Martin-McCormick will be playing together as the Mi Ami, as well as under their house-inflected Magic Touch and Ital monikers (the latter, based on this year's Hive Mind album, promises to be a particular highlight). They're joined by local 100% Silk signing Sapphire Slows – another unabashed reverb aficionado – and expat producers A Taut Line and BD1982, representing their own Diskotopia imprint.
