Anything Goes

New York gets represented in style this weekend, as two key figures from the city's club lore descend on Sound Museum Vision for a night of old-school dancefloor shenanigans. Kenny Dope is best known for his productions and remixes as one half of Masters at Work, his house/garage duo with Little Louie Vega, though he's retained ties to the hip hop scene that originally nurtured him. So too has DJ Spinna, whose talents as a turntablist haven't stopped him from straying beyond the boom-bap into deep house, soul and funk.
