Damian Lazarus's Crosstown Rebels imprint had a vintage year in 2011, which it ended sitting proudly at the top of Resident Advisor's top 20 labels poll. Not bad going for a label that very nearly bit the dust on more than one occasion during the past few years (kids: get yourselves a distributor who isn't about to go under). Lazarus will be swanning through town to give Womb a dusting of the Crosstown magic this weekend, though there'll probably be just as many people there to see his co-headliner, Maya Jane Coles, who's currently one of the hottest commodities on the UK house scene – and half Japanese, to boot.
