Madchester Night 2012

With original Madchester acts The Stone Roses and Happy Mondays both returning to the stage this year, the time is ripe for Japan to get nostalgic about its own (belated) contribution to the Second Summer of Love. Reformed early-'90s bands Venus Peter and Secret Goldfish will be sharing a stage for the first time in 15 years at Unit this weekend, while support DJs Yoda and Sugiurumn lend some appropriately Haçienda-esque vibes between sets.
