Few musicians on the LA hip hop scene can boast a work rate to rival that of Otis Jackson Jr. The producer, DJ and multi-instrumentalist better known as Madlib has admitted that he sometimes churns out an entire CD's worth of material in the space of a day, and his recent Medicine Show mixtape series ended up sprawling across 13 discs. Maybe it's his rampant studio work that keeps him from visiting Tokyo on a more regular basis, but Madlib's appearances here are few and far between.
