Midnight Cinema Dance Hall

Shibuya's WWW is harking back to its former life as a cinema with a new series of all-night dance parties. 'Midnight Cinema Dance Hall' promises to harness the venue's impressive sound and projection equipment – which helped turn the Golden Week APMT Night into such a spectacular show – to create an experience that's every bit as eye-popping as it is ass-shaking. For the kick-off party, they've got a club set by Francesco Tristano, the mop-haired classical pianist who shot to fame when he exchanged the music of Bach and Profokiev for Derrick May and Jeff Mills. DJ Moodman and electro duo Traks Boys are also playing, and VJ Rokapenis will be, um, rocking the visuals.
