Masaaki 'Anchorsong' Yoshida is one to watch. The London-based producer has garnered ecstatic reviews for his stage show, in which he builds up lush, orchestral electronica using a keyboard and MPC sampler – all played live. Recently signed to UK label Tru Thoughts, he's due to release his full-length debut, Chapter, in November. Expect to hear plenty of tracks off that album when Anchorsong plays at Unit this weekend, accompanied by a string quartet, with an additional guest set by Finnish house DJ Roberto Rodriguez.
